What makes a film successful?
Many things contribute to the success of a film and each part is equally important. For some people like Steve Carlis (founder of 2 Market Media), it is just a walk in the park to create and produce great films. So what makes a film successful?
Quality of the director
They are the brains behind it all. The director can make his/her audience feel and see exactly what he/she wants using their knowledge of lenses and cinematography. There is so much control that a director can have over his audience if they know what they are doing. Great filmmakers are able to visualize many things in their head and at the same time get the job done. They are able to direct the actors and camera crew with a lot of confidence.
Some of the best directors in the world have different styles, but all share one thing in common. They all know how to relate with their audience.
Steve Carlis has given us many brilliant films during his career up to now. He has been a part of over 50 films. He produced ‘’Slingblade” which went on to receive two Academy Award nominations. The film ‘’You Can Count on Me’’ and ‘’With All Deliberate Speed’’ were also nominated for an academy award and Emmy. Steve is also the founder of 2 Market Media Company.
